Penn’s Colony is as unique among other festivals as the Pittsburgh region is to the nation.
With an authentic focus on the French & Indian era, that began with the 1753 journey of a 21-year-old George Washington. The distinction of Penn’s Colony craftsmen is quality and variety in 185+ artisans who gather once a year to showcase contemporary and traditional works for the home, garden, seasonal and holiday decor, gifts and personal accessories.
I'm got my very own structure! Booth # 86-87.
Annual Covered Bridge Festival event usually held the third weekend in September – rain or shine – to celebrate autumn in Washington and Greene Counties with arts and crafts, food, entertainment, children’s activities, historical reenactments, and more.
I'll be celebrating 14 years at the Bridge! I'm in my same 'ole spot # 87.
Mark your calendars and join us for our 28th season October 10-11 and 17-18. It's your opportunity to shop for hand-crafted holiday gift items from some of the country's best
craftspeople in a setting that only Shaker Woods can deliver.
The woods will be transformed into a holiday wonderland with each booth beautifully decorated in an old-fashioned holiday theme. Each crafts person will be demonstrating their unique skills and fashioning those precious gifts right before your eyes.
Craftspeople include woodworkers, floral designers, blacksmiths, potters, tole painters, basket weavers and many others. There will be plenty of delicious foods including some holiday favorites cooked in the old-fashioned way. Live entertainment will help make it an event for the entire family! Come and have an old-fashioned good time!
Hours for the festival are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. General admissions tickets will be on sale at the gate. Admission for adults is $8.00 per day, and children 12 years old and younger are admitted free. Acres of FREE parking, too! (No pets, please.)
